The cost of living has risen sharply, especially in real estate, making it difficult for foreigners and even locals to find affordable housing. Meanwhile, the infamous Pattaya nightlife scene has seen a shift. “Girls on the phone, girls of the night are way overpriced,” another expat lamented.
