PATTAYA, Thailand – One of Pattaya’s most iconic cultural institutions, Tiffany’s Show, is marking a dazzling milestone this week: its 50th anniversary. A pioneer of transgender cabaret performance in Thailand and across the globe, Tiffany’s is not only looking back on a half-century of glamour but also boldly stepping into a new era with a completely reimagined show set to premiere this July.
The final curtain of the current version fell on Sunday night, closing a chapter that entertained countless tourists and locals alike. But don’t expect the stage to stay dark for long. The Tiffany Theatre will undergo a brief three-week hiatus to prepare for what promises to be a ground-breaking debut. Armed with cutting-edge LED technology and an updated creative direction, the new production is being kept tightly under wraps – adding a touch of mystery to the highly anticipated comeback.
“We were always fully booked,” says Dr. Darin Phanthusak, Vice President of PTS Holding. “But it was important to us to present new dimensions in the show. This will be possible thanks to advances in technology.” Though details are being kept secret, it’s clear the family behind Tiffany’s is intent on delivering more than just spectacle – they’re aiming for transformation.
The iconic Tiffany’s Theatre in Pattaya is making headlines again with bold new plans set to premiere this July.
Since the passing of founder and visionary Senator Sutham Phanthusak, the PTS Group has been steered by his wife Orawan and daughters Darin, Alisa, and Varassaya. Under their guidance, Tiffany’s has flourished beyond the stage. The family’s ventures now include the Woodlands Hotel, the La Ferme restaurant, two La Baguette French cafés, Thai Marché, and the Lola Summer boutique – a lifestyle empire that blends hospitality, gastronomy, and entertainment.
Yet, even amid this expansion, Tiffany’s Show remains the crown jewel. Each year, it hosts both national and international transgender beauty pageants, broadcast live to Thai audiences and celebrated worldwide. These events not only celebrate gender diversity but also reinforce Pattaya’s role as a cultural beacon.
“We owe a lot to Pattaya,” says Dr. Darin. “And we want to give something back with the best possible performance.”
As the curtain rises on the next act of Tiffany’s Show this July, Pattaya will once again be in the spotlight. With a rich legacy and fearless innovation, the Phanthusak family continues to shape the city’s cultural identity – one glittering performance at a time.
Friends, fans, and longtime supporters gather for a truly unique performance celebrating the Tiffany’s family and its enduring spirit.
