Multiple affairs discovered after woman’s murder in Chon BuriLegacyA Thai man fatally stabbed a woman in a rented house in the Si Racha district of Chon Buri on April 29 before attempting a failed suicide. The suspected motive was jealousy as the woman was reportedly involved in affairs with seven men.
The 50 year old Thai man, Sanya, was shocked to discover the lifeless body of his girlfriend, 51 year old Wannapa “Muay” Pimrod, in the rented house where they lived together. He also found another man, 50 year old Pachara, seriously injured at the back of the house.
Pachara is believed to have murdered Muay before attempting to take his own life by repeatedly stabbing himself. Muay sustained eight stab wounds to her chest, while Pachara had more than ten wounds in the same area. He was rushed to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Sanya told officers at Bor Win Police Station that he suspected Pachara was Muay’s ex-boyfriend. He reportedly tried to win Muay back, even though she consistently rejected his advances.
The investigation led police to five other men who were romantically involved with Muay. The seven men included Sanya, Pachara, Wan, Komkrit, Natthaphum, Den, and Kaew.

Muay was previously married to Komkrit, with whom she had a son before Komkrit passed away. She then entered into relationships with Sanya and Den.
Sanya stated that he had been living with Muay at the house where the murder took place. They had planned to marry in the next three years, but the tragic incident ended those hopes. Den declined to speak to the media, but another man, Wan, gave an interview to Channel 8.

Wan claimed that he was Muay’s husband, not merely a boyfriend, asserting that they married in 2023 with a dowry of 20,000 baht in cash and 100,000 baht in gold. He also provided her with a monthly allowance of 13,500 baht, even though they did not live together. However, they did not sign a marriage certificate.
Wan said he only discovered that Muay lived with Sanya at the time of her death. Muay told him she lived with her nephew. They communicated daily via video call, but he never saw Sanya on camera.

Despite Wan’s insistence on his status, Channel 8 reported that Muay did not include his name as her husband when she submitted a document to apply for a job as a security guard. In the document, Muay identified her husband as Natthaphum.
Police summoned Kaew for questioning yesterday, May 1. He admitted that he had been in a relationship with Muay for five months before her death. Sanya disclosed that he had previously found pictures of Muay and Kaew on her phone but chose not to confront her.

Kaew told police that Muay informed him about Pachara, describing him as a former boyfriend who continued to harass her after she began dating Kaew. He added that he would have confronted Pachara if he had known of his intentions to harm Muay.
Police officers had not yet summoned Den and Nattaphum for questioning.

Channel 8 reported that all of Muay’s partners were heartbroken after learning the full extent of her romantic entanglements, and none wished to participate in her funeral. Her son has since collected her body for a funeral in their home province.

Given the complex nature of Muay’s relationships, police suspect jealousy and infidelity to be the motives behind the murder. However, officers are awaiting the opportunity to question Pachara further once his condition improves.
